In a statement released yesterday, PSM’s national director for Welfare and Political Engagement, Comrade Awesu Fawaz, expressed gratitude to the governor for recognising Raymond’s suitability for the role.

“We salute His Excellency for finding Comrade Immunity worthy of this well-deserved and long-overdue appointment,” Fawaz said.

The PSM highlighted Raymond’s track record in student and youth leadership, noting his commitment to national development.

“His previous roles within the student and youth constituency demonstrate that Governor Adeleke has appointed a highly qualified individual capable of delivering democratic dividends to the youth,” the statement read.

The group underscored the appointment’s significance, given its focus on youth mobilisation.

“Not all Nigerian youths are students, but all students are youths. This makes the role critical and sensitive,” Fawaz added.

PSM also commended Governor Adeleke on his achievements, expressing optimism about his second term. “We are confident his leadership will bring total transformation to Osun State,” the statement noted.

The group also congratulated Raymond and pledged unwavering support. It urged him to leverage the opportunity to enhance the welfare of Nigerian students in Osun and beyond.
